PURPOSE:

This is an Apprenticeship Programme where incumbents will be trained in the following trades, Tool, Jig & Die Maker/ Millwright and Auto Electrician disciplines.

The incumbent will be placed in an hourly position for the duration of the programme.

Permanent placement is not guaranteed at the end of the programme – all placements are vacancy driven.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Tool, Jig, and Die Maker Trade

NTC3 with Maths, Engineering Science, Technical drawing, and Tool making trade Theory or Technical Matric with Maths, Physical Science, Graphic Design and Mechanical trade.

Workshop experience in the trade related discipline (advantageous).

Millwright

NTC3 with Maths, Engineering Science, Electrical trade theory/Mechanical trade theory or Technical matric with Maths, Physical Science, Graphic Design, and Mechanical trade.

Workshop experience in the trade related discipline (advantageous).

 

Auto Electrician

 

NTC3 with Maths, Engineering Science, Auto Electrical trade theory, Electronics trade theory or Technical Matric with Maths, Physical Science, Auto Electrical trade Theory, Graphic Design.

Workshop experience in the trade related discipline (advantageous).
