SAPS Training 2025 | Application Now Open

To apply for the South African Police Service (SAPS) training college in 2025, you can:

1. Download the application form from the SAPS website or request one from a local police station
   
2. Fill out the application form in black ink, making sure to include all required information
   
3. Attach copies of required documents, such as:
   
   • Identity document
     
   • Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification
     
   • Tertiary qualifications
     
   • Academic record
     
   • Driver’s license (if applicable)
     
   • Testimonial
     
   • Service certificates of previous employers (if applicable)
     
4. Review your application for accuracy and completeness
   
5. Hand deliver your application to your local police station during office hours
   
6. Be prepared to undergo a medical examination, psychological assessment, and reference checks
   

You must meet the following requirements to apply: 

• Be at least 18 years old, but younger than 30 years
• Have permanent residency in South Africa
• Be fluent in English and at least one other official language
• Have no visible tattoos that are contrary to the objectives of the SAPS
• Have no previous criminal convictions
