Application Requirements:

This is a position for a combination HOD/ ECD – Grade 00 or 000 Teacher at St Andrew Little Saints Pre-Primary School.

The Applicant must have the necessary Teaching experience currently in the ECD Phase (3 – 5 age group) at a School. Management skills in a Pre-primary School setting will be a strong recornmendation.

PLEASE NOTE THAT CONSIDERATION WILL ONLY BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES WITH THE

FOLLOWING:

• A willingness to commit to the ethos and values of the School
• The ability to work closely and cooperatively with colleagues and parents

• A proven record of being involved in ECD Educational- and Personal Development courses/activities
• A proactive, dynamic and motivated approach
• Appropriate leadership experience and integrity
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills Initiative and attention to detail
• Relevant ECD Teaching experience, SACE accreditation and Police clearance

Job Profile:

This is a position for a self-motivated, energetic, well-organized, positive and friendly person. The

person must take responsibility to organize the daily programme and safe running of the Pre-Primary School with a staff of 11 whilst teaching her own class of learners daily. Working hours are from 07:00

• 14:00 with extra hours to successfully run the Pre-Primary School on good Educational Principals necessary for Early Childhood Development. Extra hours as per the St Andrew’s School Policy on Personal Development will be included:
