Windsor SA is a progressive and innovative mining company focusing on metals recovery and processing. The Windsor SA Plant operation is situated in the Brits and Mooinooi Area.

An exciting opportunity currently exist for an experienced:

Logistics Coordinator (X1 position)

To be considered for appointment into this position, the successful candidate must have:

• N6 or equivalent certificate,
• Logistics or Supply Chain Management Diploma, would be advantageous.
• 2 to 3 Years’ Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Medical Fit.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Must be computer literate.

The following competencies would ensure a successful job fit:

• Sound Decision making skills; Strong Communication skills; Ability to work without supervision as a member of a team; Safety Conscious.

This position reports to the Logistics Supervisor and the Key Performance Indicators include:

• Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation.
• Analysing and optimizing logistics procedures.
• Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders.
• Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of stock.
• Monitoring stockpiles, costs, timelines, and productivity.
• Oversee weighbridge operations.
• Co-ordinate the final product dispatches to local customers.
• Ensure proper management of the stockpiles.
• Participate on rotational weekly standby.
• Supervision of the weighbridge operators.
• Plan and coordinate the yellow machines operations.
• Ensure the transporters are performing as per the loading plan.
• Compile and communicate the off-loading reports to Port and material warehouse.
• Measure and report on the Plant diesel availability and consumption,
